El número, a pesar de ser el final de una saga, se siente como un prólogo. Esto es por las alusiones a un plan de Constantine, delirante en su escala, hecho para cagar definitivamente al Adversario con la ayuda de Ellie (en principio).
El demonio está preocupado por la desaparición de Chantinelle porque sospecha, con buenos motivos, que el que desaparezca tiene mucho que ver con algo relacionado a Constantine. Se lleva a Triskele y se van a buscar a Ellie a la Tierra.
Resulta que Constantine se manda una aparentemente muy zarpada por lo que dice Triskele y le graba una runa de ocultamiento (“masking sigil”) a Ellie, ocultándola así de los ojos de cualquiera del infierno. Así caga al Adversario por tercera vez. De vuelta en el infierno los dos demonios del castigo, Agony y Ecstasy, lo buscan al Adversario porque supuestamente según la ley ahora Constantine era libre y el tenia que sufrir en su lugar, pero los hace mierda a los dos y sigue pensando como cagar a John.
El número no está mal, y los dibujos son de lo mejor que hizo Will Simpson en Hellblazer, pero el hecho de que se sienta como un prólogo (que de hecho lo es, aunque la historia de la que es prologo empieza bastante después en sí, en Rake at the Gates of Hell) le juega en contra, porque termina teniendo poco contenido y leyéndose muy rápido.
El personaje de Ellie avanza y cambia, aliándose definitivamente con Constantine, y también nos enteramos de que John efectivamente tiene un plan contra el Adversario, aparentemente uno bastante particular por la expresión y pensamientos de Ellie, pero no pasa mucho más.
